Soft vs Hard Dog Crates
Unlike hard dog crates that can make even the best dog owners feel uncomfortable, Soft Dog Crates provide all the same functionality with a ton of practicality that makes them seem less like a kennel and more like a home. Soft dog crates can be hand or machine washed, gone are the days of taking the hard dog crate outside to be sprayed with a garden hose. Hard Dog Crates provide one maybe two points of entry, many soft dog crates offer as many as three points of entry. It’s amazing how much less like a kennel it feels when your dog can look up through the roof and even jump in their soft dog crate.
Ready for Any Adventure
Since soft dog crates are easy to clean, your car won’t smell on those long trips. I don’t know about you but I can never seem to clean a hard dog crate enough that it feels clean. Within in minutes, I have my soft dog crate broken down and into the washing machine. It comes out smelling freshly laundered and ready for our families next road trip. Regardless of the conditions (rain, snow, mud, sand, water), my soft dog crate is ready for action. Gone are the days of trying to towel off the dog prior to jumping back in the car, in fear that if I didn’t clean the dog off I would spend the afternoon trying to clean their crate. My soft dog crate is ready for any fun my family has.
The Hardest part of Cleaning
Unlike the cold hard shell prison, my soft dog crate is something our dog cherishes. This might sound crazy but I feel a little guilty when I wash it because our dog loses his security shelter. When the shelter is in the wash, I’ll find him pouting and pacing where we normally keep his soft dog shelter. Every dog owner has their own reasons on how they shelter their pets, but let me share that if you do choose a soft dog crate it’s a decision you and your dog won’t regret.
